Thorton, Avon Kitchen Remodel

This Avon project involved a new kitchen, a new back entry landing space, and new flooring throughout.

In the kitchen, we removed builder-grade cabinetry, countertops, and fixtures. We also removed the tile flooring. After reconfiguring the layout, we installed new custom Amish cabinets, including a new custom range hood and large island. New Quartz countertops were added, along with a tile backsplash and new plumbing fixtures & light fixtures.

In the back entry area, we added a new custom Amish-made stained wood bench with cubbies and cabinetry. We also installed new vinyl plank flooring throughout the first floor.

We had the pleasure of working with Renew CLE for the renovation of our third-floor primary bedroom and bathroom, as well as our basement bathroom, and we are SO happy with the results! Our home is 100+ years old and we definitely had a couple of surprises and setbacks, but the team communicated and problem-solved with us and kept the project moving. We have now had the Renew team work on three projects over the past several years, from a small basement job in our first home to a full remodel we just completed. We worked with RenewCLE on a large kitchen renovation in early 2024. Andrew, Jenna and the entire team were great to work with- from upfront communications to the design process and then regular communications throughout the construction. They engage a top notch designer to assist with the selection of materials, colors, and help bring your vision to life. We were quoted with an estimated cost and 12-week timeline at the start of the project. Jenna helped us track week by week where we were against the plan- and the project came in on time and on budget. Jenna and Andrew were very responsive to questions that came up during the process, worked together with their entire team to come up with a solution and execute on the plan. The team they had on-site over those 12 weeks were great- very skilled workers, highly attentive to detail and respectful of our space as we lived in the house during renovation. We love our new space (pictures attached of the renovated space as well as the before- separate and outdated living room, dining room and kitchen spaces). We will be working with the Renew team again in the future when we are ready to tackle our next home project!
